‘Personal training for you and your horse

'Total Training' is a holistic training facility. The idea is the competitor (i.e you) can put together their own package addressing areas that they want to expand on and learn more about. It is not just about your horses training but also your own. Equine areas include training (pre and post competition), Advanced training techniques (e.g Interval Training), Therapy, Nutrition, Health aspects and Rider areas include Training on a personal basis (individual programs), Therapy and Nutrition. So as you can see to cover these areas would take a very intense couple of days, so the idea is you, either with your horse or a facility horse, visit the training factuality for a specific period of time (e.g.. weekend or a day). Another important point to make would be that after the initial session, it would be an on-going facility. The reason for this is that both horse and rider programs need to be adjusted on a regular basis to continue to gain results. Therefore it would not be a case of attending the session and going away being left to your own devices but at any stage up on advice your programmes need to be varied then this will be done. The sessions are catered for specific needs, but if a small group of two or three wish to attend then this is not a problem.

 

You will see below that there are a number of Introductory Days suitable for all levels, all covering similar subjects, but Introductory Day 2 and 3 has had more lecture type sessions included, with a more in depth look at the science behind training. Packages can be designed to include re-assessment days for on-going assessment and these are designed to include areas of specific interest.
